Payment data

Payments are processed through our payment provider Mollie. We do not store any payment data ourselves (such as credit card numbers or bank account numbers). Mollie processes this data as an independent data controller in accordance with its own privacy policy.

6. Sharing with third parties

We share your personal data with third parties only when this is necessary for our services, or when we are legally required to do so. We have concluded data processing agreements with all processors in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Translators

To carry out your translation order, only the relevant source documents are shared with the assigned sworn translator. All translators work under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and are bound by professional confidentiality.

We do not sell, rent out or provide your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. We may share data with law enforcement authorities or supervisory authorities when we are legally required to do so.

7. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar techniques. For detailed information about which cookies we use, their purposes and how you can manage your preferences, please refer to our Cookie Policy.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)

You have the right to know which personal data we process about you. You can submit a request to receive an overview of all your data.

Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)

You have the right to have inaccurate or incomplete personal data corrected. You can change much of your data yourself through your account settings.

Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

You have the right to have your personal data erased (the "right to be forgotten"). You can delete your account through your dashboard or submit a deletion request. Please note that we are required to retain certain data for longer due to legal obligations (such as the statutory tax retention obligation of 7 years).

Right to restriction (Art. 18 GDPR)

You have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted in certain cases.

Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You can export your data through your dashboard.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data when it is based on a legitimate interest.

How can you exercise your rights?

You can submit your request by sending an email to info@beedigdevertalingonline.nl. We ask you to enclose a copy of your identity document so that we can verify your identity. Please make your passport photo and citizen service number (BSN) illegible to protect your privacy.

We respond to your request as quickly as possible, and within 30 days at the latest.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data:

  • SSL/TLS encryption — All data transfer between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS
  • Secure file storage — Uploaded documents are stored in secure environments with access control
  • Access control — Only authorised staff and translators have access to your data
  • Regular security updates — Our systems and software are updated regularly
  • Authentication — User accounts are protected with encrypted passwords

10. Children

Our services are not aimed at people under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If, as a parent or guardian, you are convinced that we have collected personal data from a minor without consent, please contact us at info@beedigdevertalingonline.nl, so that we can delete this data.

11. Changes to this privacy policy

We may amend this privacy policy from time to time, for example in response to new developments in our services or changes in legislation. You will always find the most recent version on this page, stating the date of the latest change.
