Do you already have a sworn translation, and does the foreign authority ask for an apostille on it? The court apostilles the sworn translator's signature, provided the translator is registered in the Dutch register of sworn interpreters and translators (Rbtv). Any court can do this. You send us the paper translation with the original signature and stamp; we arrange the apostille and return the document.
How does it work?
From order to an apostilled document: we take every step off your hands.
You place your order and choose the destination country.
You send the paper sworn translation with the translator's original signature and stamp to our intake address, or have the issuing authority deliver it there directly.
We present the document to the court on your behalf and have the apostille added.
You receive the apostilled document back by registered post, and digitally as well if you want that.
How your document reaches us
You send the original document to our intake address, or have the issuing authority deliver it there directly. Once it reaches us, we present it to the court on your behalf.
Frequently asked questions
Which translations qualify?
Sworn translations by translators registered in the Dutch register of sworn interpreters and translators (Rbtv). The court checks the translator's signature; any court can place the apostille.
Can the digitally delivered PDF be apostilled?
No. The court only apostilles the paper translation with the translator's original signature and stamp. A digitally delivered PDF does not qualify.
Do I also need an apostille on the source document?
The apostille only covers the translator's signature. Foreign authorities often ask for an apostille on the source document as well. We can arrange both; you then order per document.
I am ordering the translation from you. Do I need this product?
No. If you order the sworn translation from us, you select the apostille as an option (€99) in that order. This product is meant for a sworn translation you already have.
