Notarial deeds can be apostilled directly: the court knows the notary's signature. Think of a power of attorney, certificate of inheritance, articles of association or deed of incorporation, cohabitation agreement, or a certified notarial copy of your passport, for example. You send us the notarial copy with the original signature; we arrange the apostille at the court and return the document.
How does it work?
From order to an apostilled document: we take every step off your hands.
You place your order and choose the destination country.
You send the notarial copy with the notary's original signature to our intake address, or have the issuing authority deliver it there directly.
We present the document to the court on your behalf and have the apostille added.
You receive the apostilled document back by registered post, and digitally as well if you want that.
How your document reaches us
You send the original document to our intake address, or have the issuing authority deliver it there directly. Once it reaches us, we present it to the court on your behalf.
Frequently asked questions
Which notarial documents can you apostille?
Examples include a power of attorney, a certificate of inheritance, articles of association or a deed of incorporation, a cohabitation agreement and a certified notarial copy of an identity document.
Can I use a digital copy from the notary?
No. The court only apostilles the paper copy with the notary's original signature. Digital copies and PDFs do not qualify.
How do I get a certified copy of my passport?
You have the copy certified by a notary. The certified copy then carries the notary's signature and can be apostilled at the court.
Is pre-legalisation needed?
No. The notary's signature can be apostilled directly; the court places the apostille without an intermediate step. The €27 court fee per document is part of our rate.
