Most people who need a translation in a hurry are working to a deadline from the IND, a gemeente, a court or a university. The base rate stays €39 for the first page for Dutch ↔ English and French, or €59 for other languages, with €75 for each following page. Urgent delivery adds 50% (minimum €55) and takes 2 to 3 working days. If you need it sooner, express is available within 24 hours for Dutch ↔ English or French ordered before 12:00, at +100% (minimum €75).
An urgent sworn translation is delivered in 2 to 3 working days for a 50% surcharge (minimum €55) on top of the base rate. It keeps the same legal standing as a standard translation: made by an Rbtv-registered sworn translator, with the official statement, stamp and signature.

Does an urgent translation keep the same legal standing?
Yes. The urgent version differs only in turnaround, not in legal quality. The translator is Rbtv-registered and sworn before a Dutch court, the translation carries the statement, stamp and signature required by law, and it is valid under Article 28 of the Sworn Interpreters and Translators Act (Wbtv).

What does an urgent translation with an apostille cost?
The translation takes the 50% urgent surcharge, and the apostille is €99 per document, all-in (court fee and court application included). Turnaround is usually a few working days from confirmation, because the court needs one working day after we file the request. Order both together for the fastest route.

How do you make urgent delivery work?
Our translators pick up urgent files within the working day, and we confirm whether your language pair and deadline are feasible before you pay. For the most requested pairs (English, French, German) capacity is reliable; for rarer languages we check first.
If something outside our control delays the work, we tell you within one hour and refund the urgent surcharge.

Frequently asked questions about urgent translations
How quickly can I get an urgent translation?
Urgent delivery takes 2 to 3 working days for a 50% surcharge (minimum €55), and the document is picked up the same working day. Standard delivery is 5 to 7 working days. For Dutch ↔ English or French ordered before 12:00, express delivery within 24 hours is available at +100% (minimum €75).
What does an urgent translation cost extra?
The urgent surcharge is 50% on top of the base rate, with a minimum of €55. The base rate stays €39 (Dutch ↔ English/French) or €59 (other languages) for the first page, plus €75 for each following page. Express within 24 hours costs +100%, minimum €75.
Which documents can be translated urgently?
Birth and marriage certificates, diplomas, criminal record extracts (VOG), Chamber of Commerce extracts, passports and driving licences can normally go urgent. Legal texts over five pages and rare language pairs need a little longer, and we confirm the timing before you order.
Can an urgent translation include an apostille?
Yes. An apostille is €99 per document, all-in (court fee and application). For an urgent translation with an apostille we usually need a few working days from confirmation, because the court takes one working day after we file. Order everything in one go for the fastest turnaround.
Are urgent translations also Rbtv-sworn and valid?
Yes, identical to our standard translations. The translator is Rbtv-registered, the translation carries the official statement, stamp and signature, and it is accepted by the IND, gemeenten, courts, NUFFIC and universities. Speed never changes the legal status.
What if I upload my document outside office hours?
Uploads arrive around the clock, but our urgent team works on weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 18:00. A Sunday upload is picked up on Monday morning; a Friday-evening upload counts from Monday morning unless we confirm otherwise.
