BRP extract with apostille
We add an apostille to your extract from the Dutch Personal Records Database (BRP) for use abroad.
Looking for a sworn translation instead? On this page you order only an apostille on the untranslated document. For a sworn translation of your document, go to order a sworn translation; you can add an apostille (€99) as an option in that order.

For registration, a marriage or an application abroad, the authority often asks for a BRP extract with an apostille. You request the extract from your own municipality and send us the paper copy; we arrange the apostille at the court and return the document. The court only apostilles a paper extract bearing the municipality's original signature, so a self-printed PDF will not do.
How does it work?
From order to an apostilled document: we take every step off your hands.
You place your order and choose the destination country.
You send your original BRP extract to our intake address, or have the issuing authority deliver it there directly.
We present the document to the court on your behalf and have the apostille added.
You receive the apostilled document back by registered post, and digitally as well if you want that.
How your document reaches us
You send the original document to our intake address, or have the issuing authority deliver it there directly. Once it reaches us, we present it to the court on your behalf.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use a self-printed extract or a PDF?
No. The court only places the apostille on a paper extract with the municipality's original signature. If you apply online, choose a paper copy sent by post.
Is there a multilingual version of the extract?
Yes. Municipalities issue an international, multilingual version that includes Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish. With that version a separate sworn translation is often unnecessary.
How recent does the extract need to be?
Foreign authorities often ask for a copy no older than three to six months. Request the extract shortly before you need it and plan the apostille straight after.
Do you request the extract for me?
No. You request the extract yourself from the municipality where you are registered. We then arrange the apostille at the court and the return shipment.
Is the court fee part of the price?
Yes. The court charges a €27 fee per document; that amount is part of our rate of €149 excl. VAT per document, together with the application at the court.
